Dedication and Continuity

One audio engineer from first take to final mix

At Lymnaean Space, you do not work with rotating assistants or temp staff. The same experienced engineer places the microphones, monitors recording levels, guides vocal takes, and creates your stereo mix.

This creates natural trust and a shared understanding of your artistic vision. Upon full payment of the studio time, all multi-tracks and finished master files remain 100% your property.

Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers before your session

Clear agreements regarding preparation, file formats, master rights, and studio visits at Lymnaean Space B.V.

01 What should I prepare before a recording session?

Ensure that tempos (BPM), musical keys, and song arrangements are confirmed in advance. Bring backing tracks or reference demos on a USB drive or send them prior to the session. Acoustic instruments should have fresh strings and be properly set up and tuned.

02 How should I deliver multitracks for mixing?

Export all individual audio stems starting from timeline 0:00 as 24-bit WAV files (sample rate 44.1kHz or higher). Bypass time-based effects (such as reverbs and delays) unless they are integral to the sound design. Always include a rough reference mix.

03 Who owns the rights to completed recordings and masters?

The client/artist retains 100% of all copyrights and master rights unconditionally. As soon as the invoice for studio hours is settled in full, we deliver the definitive uncompressed 24-bit WAV masters and stem archives.

04 What are the terms for rescheduling or cancellation?

Free rescheduling or cancellation is possible up to 7 calendar days before the scheduled session date. For cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours prior to start, 50% of the reserved time is invoiced. For cancellations within 48 hours, the full session fee applies in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

05 Can I rent the studio without a resident engineer?

Yes, both our Live room and Control room can be booked for independent tracking or rehearsal by experienced producers and audio engineers, following a technical facility walkthrough with our studio manager.
